Process Builder is
a BPM (business process management) tool that
provides dynamic process authoring capabilities to
non-technical personnel. Enables you
to define, adapt and control complex manufacturing
processes with ease. You could freely mix manufacturing
& non-manufacturing processes and extend it beyond
the factory floor. Sequencing module allows you to
define dynamic routing and event based sequencing.

Process modeling helps
you to
evolve and improve processes on a continuous basis and
control critical procedures at a glance. Processes
are stored as templates.
A
Template could either be a Job
Template
or a Process Template.

A Job-Template
will have all the information such as the Procedures,
Operations, Equipment and Tools, Timing and
Skills required to manufacture a product or a part, in a
readily usable form. A Process-Template will
have the same information but defines either a single or
a set of procedures.

Processes can be defined locally and deployed
globally.
|
|
These templates provide the basis on which future Job
& Product definitions are built. Results in faster, more efficient, more effective and
standardized processes & procedures. This
information is readily available to planners &
managers and helps significantly in ensuring
quality while expanding the
enterprise knowledge base and preventing re-invention of
proven processes.
